I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
